Museo Frida Kahlo: Located in the Coyoacan suburb, it is one of the best-known museums in Mexico City that exhibits the life and work of Frida Kahlo. Also known as La Casa Azul, the Blue House, it was Kahlo's former residence.

Museo Casa Luis Barragan: Once home to Luis Barragan, a prominent Mexican architect renowned for his modernist style, it is now a museum that showcases his works. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in the year 2004.

Secretaria de Educacion Publica: The two courtyards here are lined with 120 fresco panels which were painted by Diego Rivera in the 1920s. Each of these courtyards is different and depicts tradition and festivals.

Monumento a la Revolución: The monument was unveiled in 1938 and contains the tombs of the revolutionary and post-revolutionary heroes. It was originally meant to be a legislative chamber but the construction was interrupted by the Revolution.

Palacio Nacional: Witness the Diego Rivera murals depicting Mexican civilization from the arrival of Quetzalcóatl to the post-revolutionary period. The murals were painted between 1929 and 1951.
